FG840

| /

The FG Series FG840 from Yamaha is a full-sized traditional dreadnought-style acoustic guitar made with a solid spruce top, and flamed maple back and sides with a natural finish.

Well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band, the FG840 utilizes a newly developed scalloped bracing design which results in a powerful and balanced acoustic sound with stronger lows and mids than its predecessors.

The FG840 features a nato neck with a smooth matte finish for ease in playing and is equipped with a set of chrome die-cast tuners on the headstock. The fingerboard and bridge are both made of rosewood, while the nut and saddle are made from urea. Additional features include black ABS bridge pins to secure the strings, cream body binding, abalone with black and white soundhole inlay, and a tortoise-patterned pickguard. The FG840 ships with a hex wrench.
